python3-pathvalidate (sanitize and validate filenames)

pathvalidate is a Python library to sanitize and validate

strings such as filenames and file paths. It removes invalid

characters, replaces reserved names, and normalizes input

for a target platform. It also provides argument validators

and sanitizers for argparse and click.
